With a scream of anguish, the spriggan struck down the atronach, only to die to its final flash of flame. Whispers emanated from the rock as this one approached, stopping when Khajiit was within reach of the rock. Discovering an ornate bowl that matched the description the old alchemist gave, Kay took out the mixture he provided to unlock the phial. As the stone wall slid back to reveal a hidden room, this one marvelled at the ingenuity of the trigger mechanism. Far more inventive than the simple locks of Bleak Fall Barrows. Unfazed by the flames lapping around them, the draugr continued to advance. Forced further back by the axe of the lead zombie, Khajiit found herself pushed into the open. Agreeing to retrieve the phial in exchange for details of its location, this one had a new mission. Filling her waterskin in the clear but chilly waters of the river, Khajiit was taken aback when an arrow clattered across the stones not more than two feet from where she crouched. Stuffing the relic into her pack, Kay wasted no time fleeing from the tomb, following a draught from beside the tomb to a cave in the mountainside. Emerging into the open Skyrim air, this one breathed deeply, sucking in a lungful of frosty, afternoon air. Moving closer, Khajiit scouted the chamber, with its vaulted ceiling echoing the sound of running water, keeping as much cover between herself and the strange edifice ahead. The river that would no doubt lead to Riverwood. All Kay had to do was follow it. Lashing out as this one stepped to the side, Kay tore at the wolf’s face, gouging its eyes, while avoiding its yellowed teeth. Further emphasis could be achieved by lightly dry brushing the model and highlighting the ridges of the muscles and knuckles. I find it best when the colour is still vibrant but the consistency is bordering on water.
